Husband and wife team, Mike and Tineke have diverse backgrounds which come together perfectly for running a wedding and events venue.

Mike had corporate training in Wellington before starting his own tourism business in Queenstown in 1998, which was sold in 2016. He was ready for a new challenge. Tineke has a children’s clothing label and runs a second hand and up-cycled store. When she’s being creative, she’s happy.

Tineke’s what you could call a ‘true’ local, 5th generation born in Queenstown. They are forever grateful to her Great, Great Grandfather for picking one of the most beautiful places in the world to settle and begin farming.

When Tineke’s parents retired in 2015, the couple began to think of ways to use the land. Farming was not their thing. Hello NZ High Country Ltd.
